Model Overview
The ½" - 2" Pressure Vacuum Breaker shall be an Conbraco Model PVB4V (formally Model PVB). The assembly shall be manufactured in America. The body will be bronze with a stainless-steel powder-coated canopy. The domestic shut-off ball valves shall incorporate stainless steel handles. The design will incorporate a spring-loaded relief valve to reduce the possibility of damage due to intermittent freezing conditions. The acetal check valve module will be replaceable. The pressure drop across the assembly shall be documented by USC's FCCC&HR approval curves. The assembly shall prevent contamination of potable water due to back-siphonage. Features include: low pressure loss, built in freeze resistance, compact design, removable check valve, and made in the USA.
