Model Overview

The 4A-100 series is a double check assembly. Production began in 2008. The 1/2"- 2" size is available in either a leaded body or lead free bronze body (Model LF). The check covers are a threaded access style. Spring tension will be contained when the cover is unscrewed. The check components are a modular glass filled PPO plastic and can be removed from the body for repair. Check discs are silicone. The 2 1/2"- 8" size body is a fabricated body made from stainless steel tubing. There is a single access cover on the top attached to the body with a stainless steel quick connect coupling. The 10"-12" body is fused epoxy coated ductile iron. Access to the check is with a single access grooved coupling cover. The check components are modular in construction. The 2 1/2"-6" check modules are retained in the body with a snap in retainer clip. The 8"-12" check modules are bolted into the body. The check modules utilize a silicone rubber disc that can be replaced without releasing the spring tension.
